Admission Process 2026–27
Axel Public School admits students from Preparatory (age 3) through Class XII. Our process is straightforward — designed to understand your child, not to filter them out.
Key Dates
Plan your application well in advance. Seats in each class are limited.
Kindergarten intake
Preparatory, Nursery and KG.
January start.
Registration: October–December 2025.
Class I–XII intake
All other classes.
April start.
Registration: January–March 2026.
Mid-year admissions
Subject to seat availability.

The Four Steps
From first enquiry to first day at school — here is exactly what to expect.
Register
Complete the registration form online (via the button below) or in person at our city office at Survey, Beltola, Guwahati. A non-refundable registration fee of ₹500 is payable at this stage.
You will receive an acknowledgement and a call from our admissions team within two working days to schedule the assessment.
General aptitude assessment
A 45-minute, age-appropriate interaction — not a written examination. For Kindergarten, it is a play-based session with our early childhood educators. For Class I–VIII, a conversational assessment to understand learning readiness. For Class IX–XII, a written aptitude paper.
Parents are invited to a separate meeting with the Principal on the same day.
Document verification
Within five working days of a successful assessment, you will receive a provisional offer letter. Bring the following originals along with one set of photocopies to complete verification:
- Birth certificate
- 4 recent passport-sized photographs
- Previous school's Transfer Certificate and Report Card (Class I onward)
- Aadhaar card of student and parent/guardian
- Caste/category certificate if applicable
Welcome to Axel
Once documents are verified, the first instalment of tuition fees secures your child's place. You will receive a full orientation kit including the academic calendar, uniform requirements, bus route options, and a welcome letter from the Principal.
New student orientation is held the week before each term begins.

Boarding available
Day scholar and boarding options from Class V onward. Boarding students from across Assam and neighbouring states form a meaningful part of our community.
Scholarships available
Merit, need-based and sports scholarships are available for eligible students. Financial circumstances are never a reason to decline a promising applicant. Learn more →

We work with a team of child psychologists and learning support specialists. Families are encouraged to discuss any support requirements during the admissions conversation.
